Notes

I am using the 1x1 colorwork design to stitch this vest. I am using black for the ribbing, and then using random scrap yarns for the body. I will do 2 rows of each color but alternate which row has a color change. I will also start knitting it in the round.

When I got to the division for the neckline, I added stitches and turned it into a steek so that I could knit the entire front with the same yarns in each row. This keeps it symmetrical but avoids a lot of yarn ends to weave in.

Just needs to be wetblocked and it will be all done. It fits perfectly around the chest and waist and is the perfect length. I had hoped to be able to wear this as a sleeveless top, but the armholes are 2-3 inches too low to comfortably wear by itself so it will have to be only worn as a vest.
