A very quick knit and a very satisfying result. I used less than 2 skeins of laceweight yarn for my top, it weighs less than 140gr. I made the short sleeved version as I will propably wear it over a shirt or a blouse. I held 2 strands together and went up a needle size than the one recommended in the pattern to obtain the proper gauge. The result is a drapey, flowing top, yet not too transluscent, exactly as I wished it to be.
MODIFICATION: I worked a longer lower body version, in fact I worked 20 full cm before working the Rib hem. At the end of these 20cm, I worked a Short Rows section at the back of the top (I followed the same instructions as given for the Upper Back) and this created a nice, “diving” back which I always love in oversize garments.
ATTENTION: I measure 112cm round the bust, but I went for the standard size, because I feel that 18cm of positive ease is more than enough and definitely more flattering for my figure, but this is also becuse my arms, back and rest of the body are well toned and the garment fits perfectly. I will definitely knit myself another one someday!
