Skoutari Beach is in the south of Peloponnese. It is our favourite vacation spot for the summer, so I had to come up with a shawl that represents the movement of the sea waves, the sailing boats and the feeling of the summer breeze. The shawlette was knitted there and the pictures were taken in the olive garden that surrounds the hotel. I used a gray-beige coloured yarn on purpose! That’s the colour of the sand! I hope you like it as much as I do. The pattern will be released mid-September, hopefully!

Η Παραλία Σκουτάρι είναι στη νότια Πελοπόννησο. Είναι το αγαπημένο μας μέρος για διακοπές το καλοκαίρι, γι αυτό κι έπρεπε να επινοήσω ένα σάλι που δείχνει την κίνηση των κυμάτων, τα ιστιοφόρα και την αίσθηση της καλοκαιρινής αύρας. Το σάλι το έπλεξα εκεί και οι φωτογραφίες βγήκαν στον κήπο με τα ελαιόδενδρα που περιβάλλει το ξενοδοχείο. Χρησιμοποίησα ένα νήμα σε γκρι-μπεζ επίτηδες! Είναι το χρώμα της άμμου! Ελπίζω να σας αρέσει όσο μου αρέσει κι εμένα. Το σχέδιο θα δημοσιευθεί γύρω στα μέσα Σεπτεμβρίου, ελπίζω!

La Playa Skoutari es en el sur del Peloponeso. Es nuestro lugar favorito para pasar las vacaciones del verano, así que tenía que crear un chal que representa el movimiento de las olas, los veleros y la brisa del mar. Tejí el chal allí y las fotos fueron tomadas en el olivar que rodea el hotel. He utilizado un hilo de color gris-beige a propósito! Es el color de la arena! Espero que os guste tanto como a mí. El diseño será publicado a mediados de Septiembre, espero!
