I used 12mm eyes (instead of 9mm) for the eyes and liked the look so much that I didn’t add the nose.

If I make this again using Cascade 220 superwash then I will go down at least one needle size for a tighter gauge.

I used a crochet chain for the hat ties.

Mouse/hamster & Puppy ears.

For the first Pookie I worked a m1 increase for the garter st base (per the instructions) but for the second I worked a kfb increase which was easier and looked better.

Great project for leftover yarn!
