My souvenir of Iceland is complete! And I love it!

Mods: I decided not to do the picot edge on the bottom and sleeves. I did regular ribbing and did not fold it under. Used contrasting colour on all edges. Made the body slightly longer. Used 10 snaps to keep it from pooching out between snaps.

Lopi really is the itchiest wool in the universe, but I wanted an authentic Icelandic sweater. It softened up slightly after washing. It’ll be fine if I wear it with a long-sleeved T-shirt underneath. :) What I like the most about the Lopi yarn is that this cardigan has a good structure, if you know what I mean. No sagging, pulling, stretching, etc. with wear. It keeps its shape really well.
