Started with sport weight yarn, but it was coming out too small. Changed to worsted weight. I wanted to use what I had otherwise I would have gone with dk weight.

Worsted weight worked fine, but I should have used a thicker weight wire than the 18 gauge the pattern called for.

The opossum can hold its weight hanging by its tail, but need to coil the end of the tail as just making a hook like the example doesn’t work do to the extra weight using worsted yarn.

I used stash yarn in black, white, light gray, and light pink.
