Pattern called for 3 strands of yarn knitted together. I believe a sport weight and two strands lace weight?

I’m using worsted weight acrylic. My gauge for stitches was on with 8mm instead of 9mm, but I need to add two extra rows for every 7 to get gauge for rows.

So far it seems to be pretty close. It’s very oversized, so it’s not crucial to be spot on gauge.

I’ve finished the body and almost done with one sleeve. I haven’t completed the ribbing around the neck yet. I’m thinking of doing a more narrow collar with twisted rib stitch.
