Notes

All yarn was Briggs and Little scraps leftover from other projects.

The plan is to knit these on a larger needle size, and felt them to fit an adult. Door and window accents to be added as duplicate stitches before felting.

CO and then five rows before stripes (two in contrast colour, one in main colour), then four rows, and increased by five stitches on fifth ribbing row.

14 rows before taking off thumb (4 stitches CO on row 15).
One extra row of houses.
Two rows of MC before S&P at top.
Two rows S&P before starting decreases.
One row of S&P (no decrease) after every second decrease row.
Kitchener to close the top.
Thumbs worked on 17 stitches. Two set up rows, then 12 rows S&P, followed by two rows of K2tog before pulling yarn through remaining stitches.
Blocked once before adding windows and doors as duplicate stitches.

Hand felted by alternating between very hot (55 oC) and ice cold (ice cubes in cold water) eight times, with vigorous handling (rubber gloves) in hot water.
