I just couldn’t resist this pattern. My white crochet dress takes up a lot of time, but progress is very slow. I’ve decided to try and start some quick and bulky knit that would be satisfying and allow me to see some results soon enough.

Besides, these leaves are so beautiful and I’m really, really into autumn colors…

13/09/2011 - cast on. Worked first 20 rows of chart A. The yarn seems so bulky after thread-weight crochet yarn! Still, this will hardly be a quick knit - I’m not really a lightning-speed knitter.

All done! In a spurt of two days, I made a second half, while the first took almost ten. To be sure, these two days were a weekend when I stayed at home being unwell, so I had little else to do but knit. Two weeks in all for a stole - it’s very good for me! And the color is my favorite.
