Starting another shawl, Morning Glory by Tetiana Otruta. I hope I have enough yarn for it, because I want a larger shawl, not a shawlette. It goes well, though I don’t like knitting a lot of simple stockinette stitch.
I wonder what’s it with me and the shawls. I always made larger things before, dresses, jackets. And now these ‘small scale’ projects. Will I be able to return to bigger things?…

All the main chart rows and half the edge chart done. Can’t wait to finish this one. I’m very much in doubt, don’t know how it’ll look. The thing is, there’s a little asymmetry in the chart, and also it seems to me that I could use more lace… I mean, it could look too simple. Let’s hope I’m wrong.
Next I’m taking on the Echo Flowers shawl. Or Little Leaves or Abrazo… probably first one of the shawlettes for a gift, and then EF for myself. I want something really lacy next time.

God, the rows on edge chart had become sooo long! I’m making about two rows a day, in the evenings. This way it’ll take another week, though I’m on edge row 25 of 30…

2 am, I’m blocking. As always. Why oh why I always finish my knitting in the dead of night? I just know I’ll be late for work tomorrow.
10 am, here it goes! The corners didn’t really want to be sharp. Oh well, probably they shouldn’t. In other respects I’m very satisfied. It’s my first shawl with beads and I’ll definitely knit more, though beads slow down the process considerably.
Next stop, Echo Flowers… or maybe second after next.
