Love this design.

I ended up making a few mods during the testing process. I chose the smallest size which leaves me with around 1 inch of negative ease. Working through the pattern I lost my courage and decided I wouldn’t wear it. I am so much more comfortable in a big ol’ comfy sweater.

Solution:

Steeked up the front (easy afterthought since the designer centers the design for each size)

Dropped neck line down about 1.5 inches

My notes:
Knit long sleeves. Cast on 57stitches and increased every 6th row (one at each side of purl stitch) for a total of 12 times. Began increases 2.5 inches after the beginning of starting the color work. Knit sleeves and sleeve opening on body of sweater using instructions for the next size up.

Button bands- pick up 115 (5 sts for every 6 rows) with size 1 US needles, knit 5 rows, on the 6th row place buttonholes every 15 sts using k2tog through the back loop/yarn over
