This yarn is sooo soft! I was really surprised - as I was knitting I kept thinking, “Wow, this feels good!”

I guess the merino wool that Mango Moon uses is really soft. I was a little worried that the yarn was too thick for the pattern, but it seems to be coming out just right.

And I discovered that the “Keen” colorway is not just multi, it’s self-striping! So I’ve got stripes of pink, white, and green spiraling up the hat. It looks SOOOO good, I don’t want to give it away!! :)

Update - this is a NEW version of “Dreadlocks” that is much softer, not as bulky, and has about 105 yards. I think the 75-yard super-bulky not-very-soft yarn that the yarn is listed as has been discontinued.

I used the entire skein including to make the pompom. It was just enough.
