10/7/10 - Update: Some lovely Ravelers have asked me about the fit of my sweater - seeing as how I’m a 40” bust but I made the small size. I did not check my gauge before I started: here is what it is: 3.5 sts/in on the body (wow - it must have stretched a little) - but that doesn’t matter much because it’s knit sideways; 4 sts/in on the top/sleeves. So that might explain the sizing issues. :) Still love this sweater!

1/11/09 - WOOT! I am happy with it! I blocked the sleeves a little too long (I second-guessed myself- they were fine in the first place) and the hem is a little ruffly (which I will re-crochet tonight), but I’m wearing it and I love it! I learned so much on this project, and it has totally increased my desire to make sweaters. I am chomping at the bit to start another one!

1/9/09 - SO many ends woven in! Into the sink. Blocking, work your magic!!

1/9/09 - All done! Just have to weave in ends and block. Notes- I made the sleeves 19” long instead of 20, and did the sleeve increases every 7th round instead of every 9th.

12/9/08 - And this is why we block stuff.

10/27/08 - I just cast on the other night. I really like it so far! I am making the small for myself, and ladies, I am NOT a small. I tried on CamatStix’s sweater, though, which is a small, and it fit great! It was love at first sight. So we will see if mine looks just as good.
