Started with 20 stitches, had to do one more increase-round repeat to get to the required number of stitches at the end of the toe.

Did 6 full repeats of the cable pattern + 3 more rows before starting the gusset

The heel instructions for the toe-up version seem a bit messed up, so I had to do some tweaking:

I had done rnd 4 of the cable chart before starting the heel, so the next rnd would have been rnd 5. Instead of working the instructions for rnd 8, I did rnd 1 (using the instructions for rnd 2/6). This also meant that the twisted stitches would be staggered with the cable crossings in the same way as they did for the instep, but meant that I had to work the honeycomb cable on the purl side, which ended up not being all that different.

The instructions for the 9” size (and the size below) say to P2 between the honeycomb cable and the twisted stitches on each side, but there aren’t enough stitches in the heel to do this. Instead, I followed the instructions given for the start of the foot, and worked an M1P on the honeycomb cable side of the twisted stitch columns.

Worked 8 full cable motifs for the leg, plus the cables worked for the cuff setup row.

Worked 19 rounds of cuff, after the two setup rows. The way the mock cable twist worked was off from what the pattern instructed, so I ended up with an odd number of rows to get to a non-twist round.
