12/22/2012: I discovered a major error after finishing the first leg. This was my first project using a knitting chart, and I failed to realize that because each round is a right-side row, each row of the chart is read right to left. Lesson learned. I frogged the sock and plan to start over, but I set it aside because I have a deadline for another project.

1/16/2013: Cast on!

2/23/2013: One sock done.

5/8/2013: I set this project aside for several months to work on a sweater, now I’ve set the sweater aside for a while. The second sock is in progress.

7/10/2013: finished!

Postscript I loved these socks so much. The yarn, design, and fit were terrific. That is, until they accidentally went into the dryer. I could still force them on but they were never the same.
