This was a nice easy cable project, which I would have finished much more quickly if I had just set my mind to it (it took me five months, but I knit 75% of it in the last month). The name was inspired by the closing of my local yarn shop, Stillwater Fibers in Oxford, PA. The yarn was purchased during their closing sale.

4/30/2015 5 repeats (40 rows) complete; 6.5” long

6/18/2015 10 repeats (80 rows) complete; 13” long

8/10/2015 I set this project aside for a while to finish another, and am now ready to resume work on it. This is a perfect portable project for some travel this week.

8/22/2015 20 repeats (160 rows) complete; 25” long

9/4/2015 30 repeats (240 rows) complete; 37” long

9/9/2015 44 repeats (352 rows), 55” long -- all done!
