Colourwork
96g total using:
Zauberball
& various Miss la motte colourways

Hipster Tobacco (ochre)
Cedar rouge (yellow)
Rose tan (pink)
Tin Roof (burgandy)

I used the Zauerball throughout for the colourwork, and Miss la motte yarns as the background for the strip of yellow & gold on the yoke♡

The Zauberball was a 2020 purchase, it is Edition 3 Thermography. Colourway 2299

Some notes on my interpretation of the colourwork charts
It must be said, I work intuitively, and have tried to explain as clearly as possible what it is I did. Also my yarns are hand dyed, the contrast fluctuates from quite intense to barely there. The same can be said of the colour of the Zauberball as it changes.

For the first Chart, Row 1-6, I inverted the colours. From Row 7 I revert back to the charts light & dark.
If you look at the colourwork as a series of circles, on the third row of circles I introduced my colours. I did an inner highted yellow circle with an outer darker outer backgrounds around the centre image, doing three lines across the middle centre image in deep burgandy and pink on either side.

I also added a row between 12 & 13 on colourwork Chart 2.
The fourth row of circles I revert back to othe charts light and dark again.
From the bottom of the fifth row of circles I begin to fade out the colourwork by knitting some parts ‘blank’ (in main colour)
I do this every second row but still knitting the centre part of each circle.

And then repeated this on the sleeves.

I hope this helps those who are interested. ♡♡
