Multitasking with this project…..learning Brioche (with this video) and stash-busting.
CO 49 sts.

I’m getting 3.5 inches for 24 rows… with about 1/4 of each of the first two skeins used up so far.

I’m getting the hang of it…. notes to self:

Rows 1 and 3 with color A. Always slip (purl wise) the first and last sts and turn work.

Rows 1 and 2: SLIP, AROUND, BURP

Rows 2 and 4 with color B. Always purl (row 2) or knit (row 4) the first and last st and do NOT turn work.

Rows 3 and 4: FRONT, SLIP, BARK

It’s coming along and is very warm! I find myself using it as a blanket to cover my legs while I knit!

I’m finding the two color parts to be much easier for me… the orange on orange is really tough! Good thing I only have that color combo planned for three sections… and for two of those sections it is using the yarns in two different fibers, but the same color. The Silky Flammé has a bit of sheen to it, so I can tell them apart.

So far only a few visible mistakes where I forgot to mind my yarn position when turning on rows 1 and 3. This resulted in a little loop of different color yarn around the edge. I’m not good enough at brioche to be able to unravel and fix this…. so I will just let it be. This is a practice project after all! : )

Bound off using Italian Bind Off. Now need to weave in ends.

Finally done with the ends!
