Starting the first day of summer… I’m going to try these gloves (also with Magic Loop, two at a time) but this time breaking up the color some with grey striping. Making these more narrow with 48 sts in round except for thumbhole area.

Notes to self:

CO 48 sts in Cloud Jungle.
Row 1-7 k2p2 ribbing

Row 8 knit with First color
Rows 9-12 k2p2 24 sts, St st 24 sts

Row 13 knit with Cloud Jungle
Row 14-15 K2P2 24 sts, St st 24 sts

Row 16-20 As Row 8-12 above in First Color

For thumbs, Row 21-23 in Cloud Jungle
Row 21
First glove: Bind off 6, knit 18 sts (because it is a first row color change)
Second glove: knit for 18 sts, Bind off 6
Turn
Second glove & First glove: St st 24 sts

Row 22:
First glove: CO 9 with cable cast on. Sl last CO st to right needle (may need to use DPN to “bridge” this) and slip first st on right needle over this st from the left. Continue in K2P2 pattern for 18 sts
Second glove: K2P2 for 18 sts then CO 9 with cable cast on and “join” as for first glove
Turn
Second glove & First glove: St st 24 sts

Row 23:
First glove: K2, P2, K2, P2tog, P2tog, K2P2 16 sts (total 24 sts)
Second glove: K2P2 16 sts, K2tog, K2tog, P2, K2, P2 (total 24 sts)
Turn
Second & First glove: St st 24 sts

Rows 24-39: Repeat Rows 8-15 3 more times, carrying Cloud Jungle and Colors up the inside. End with row 39. Every first row of color change, knit row, then follow pattern k2p2 on front of glove, St st on back.

24-28 Color/29-31 Cloud Jungle (CJ)
32-36 Color/37-39 CJ

Used braided join to change to Second color.
