Notes

Nice easy lapghan pattern!! The yarn is so cosy!!

Pattern corrections.

The cast on should be a multiple of 4 plus 3 extra. Cast on either 75 or 79 for the proper number of stitches to complete the repetitions and the remaining 3 stitches at the end of the row.

The pattern omits the top garter border. After ending with a row 1 or 3 (I think 3 is the better choice), work 4 rows of garter stitch and bind off in knit from the wrong side.

The pattern suggests binding off in knit, but I feel, even worked loosely, the resulting top edge would be too taut. I suggest either a decrease bind off, or Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off. I chose the latter and was pleased with the result.

Love the blanket and so does Morgan.
