This is the sweater Cameron Diaz wore in the movie, “The Holiday.” I LOVE that movie and I LOVE that sweater! Shout out to Amber Allison for creating a pattern and making it available on Ravelry.

Started it on our annual knitting retreat in Amish country (near Walholding Ohio). Been wanting to start this sweater for a few years now! Hope to get it done before spring, but I am starting a business and also work full time… i can but try.

I think her buttonholes are on the opposite side from the sweater in the movie. And because I can’t leave well enough alone, I am also adding hidden buttons on the inside. So - visible buttons on one side of the large cable, and invisible buttons on the other side of the large cable - sorta like a double breasted cardigan. I think it will make it more secure.

I removed the boring buttons I had picked up locally, and added some very nice buttons I picked up on vacation in NYC but you can’t see the new ones in these pics. But still - this is a good representation of the finished project.
