Knit this hat for a gag gift for our family White Elephant game at Xmas.

Instead of buying presents, we all nominate a charity, donate money to a pool, and pull the winning charity’s name from a hat.

Then, to have some fun, we bring “found” or “regifted” items (not allowed to spend $), and play Yankee Swap. I’ve actually come away with some funky things!

Anyway, this hat went to my cousin’s guy, and he loved it--wore it all day (and I wouldn’t be surprised if he wore it after, too!). I would have done a better job on it if I’d known he liked it so much!
