I have now tried both with 4 mm and 3,5 mm needles to get the right gauge. I made two samples with different techniques. The fabric with 4 mm needles is too loose. So I have decided to use 3,5 mm needles for the colourwork. I think the gauge is almost correct.

3 mm needles for the ribbing.

The pullover weighs 260 g. I wish I had knitted the pullover one size larger to have a bit more positive ease.

It is time to start knitting the pullover for Linda. Same size but a bit shorter. Color is red and white.
