I knitted the first version at the end of 2022 and early 2023. Originally I had planned the cardigan for myself but ended up giving it as a birthday present to Sonja.
Now it is time for my version. I will use the same mohair yarn together with Knitting for Olive’s merino. The needles need to be 0.5 mm thicker to reach the gauge.

I am reknitting my cardigan. The silk mohair was too thin and kept on breaking and creating holes. I unravelled my cardigan and I have bought Knitting for Olive Silk Mohair to replace the ITO Sensai silk mohair.
Knitting for Olive does not make anymore the colour I used in merino. To secure that I do not run out of the merino yarn, I will knit the ribbings with merino and the ITO Sensai held together because it is too difficult to separate the unravelled double yarn.

I will use 3.5 mm needles and size L2.

My gauge of this newest cardigan is 24 sts and 34 rows in 10 cm. Weight is 193 g.
