4/27: Done! Made twisted cording and tassels from perle cotton. It looks nice and I am happy with the project!

4/25: Finally had time to finish the knitting part. The pouch is currently blocking. Now I need to figure out what to use for cording on it, and make some nice tassels.

4/5: omg. I was at the Legislative District caucus (and subcaucus) for over 12 hours today. So I almost finished the pouch. I wasn’t knitting most of the time but even then I still got a bunch of knitting done. I have maybe 5 or 6 rows left. Oh, I decided not to do the top part in red and gold. It’s green and gray.

4/4: Pouch is going along, when I have time to work on it… I might not do the red part. Would be better to use my green yarn there, I think. But the animal tongues will still be red. :)

3/20: Was annoyed at it, having trouble pulling the wool around the circular needle… then realized I had the wrong size, a 20” instead of a 16”. Frogged (since what I had done so far sucked anyway) and ordered a 16” needle from Paradise Fibers. It showed up the next day! Yay! So now I’m on my second try and it is much better. Still need to buy the gold and red wool needed for the top part of the chart.

3/16: Starting another pouch, this time with real wool and an adjusted chart.
