My gauge is 4 sts to an inch, so the width came out to 16”. And it’s taking a lot longer than I thought it would.

I was really confused about the buttonhole row until I saw shlaci’s comment on the project comments page.

This is my first time doing lattice stitch and I was afraid of puckering, so I may have overcompensated a bit. The loose strands are a little loose.

I really like the idea of this pattern, and it will be easy to make several with different stitch patterns. Like those with less purling. :)

I knit this to 16” x 16” and after washing it shrunk to 15” x 15”.
