“Pheather” is an altered book, showing at Arteria, a beautiful shop and gallery in Brock Street, Lancaster, in the “Static Pages” exhibition from May 12th-28th.

It is a renovated photo album, with pages adorned with old papers and fabrics, and a hand-knit cover, knitted by me in a scrumptious eyelet and bobble pattern, in the colours of heathered hills.

Top it all off with a pheasant feather from the Cumbrian moors, and you have “Pheather”…
