After almost half a year of hibernation, I picked this up n about ready to start double knitted edge .

Finished the body . I’ve ignored this project for such a long time because of the double knitted edge .

After doing so many tubular bind off , I kinda get the idea of double knitting.
Pattern doesn’t explain very well imo about the double knitted edge .
So I my own words , here’s the instruction after picking up the stitches around arm ..

Cast on 5 stitches with long tail cast on .
Next row : k1 , cast on 1 stitch with backward loop cast on , k1 , cast on 1 , k1 , cast on 1 , k1 , cast on 1, k2tbl , turn

Ws : wyif slip purlwise , k1 , repeat , turm
Rs : k1 , wyif slip purlwise , repeat until last stitch , k2tbl , turn

Repeat these 2 rows back n forth

Double knitted edges for arms turned out beautifully although it took a long time to finish .

Currently working on the neck edges . Not too thrilled about having to do tubular bind off on this. Yarn is too thin and using tubular would be a pain in the neck . Possibly trying it with icelandic bind off instead .

Decided to frog the neckline n restarted with less stitches .
