Used locally manufactured red heart acrylic yarn, two strands held together, a different hook size, so it’s bigger than the pattern indicates. The sc post stitches might seem to take forever to do because you have to do a lot of them but once you’re in the zone, the stitches just kind of flow through your fingers. Great for stress-crocheting.

I love making bags but I hate sewing lining, zippers and handles. So I skipped the lining, and trudged through the zipper (which I had to redo because on the first try I positioned it wrong, ugh). WHen I sewed the handles on, the part of the handles that attaches to the bag reminded me of an icky insect so I covered it with a motif from a Japanese crochet book.

Hmm. Now that I see it in its entirety I think the motifs look weird. Might change that.
