My gauge is a fraction larger than specified, so these are perhaps a little on the large size. I get 5.5cm where I should be getting 5cm - I wonder if I should re-do on a smaller hook? Certainly trying to crochet more tightly with this one would be a recipe for disaster for me - as I struggle to get it through the stitches at times already.

Not doing the bonnet of the 3-piece set - just the bootees and mittens - and I have the perfect ribbon for them! Though sadly only enough for the bootees - will have to find something else for the mittens.

Lovely to have such a quick project - if only I finished everything else at a similar rate!
