Pattern calls for a DK with a 4mm hook: I used 3.5mm hook. The border should have been 4-ply not 3-ply, in two shades rather than just white, one to match the DK. Again I used a smaller hook, 3mm instead of 3.5mm. I also omitted the crochet flowers.

Overall I’m happy with the results though. Hopefully my new nephew or niece will also like it when they arrive!
