This yarn was bought from Marna’s Curious Yarns, and is a lovely sock yarn, sold as one main skein in lots of shades of pinks and purples and almost blues, and a smaller skein of matching yarn in just the purples to be a contrast for the heels and toes. I’ve had it for several years, waiting for me to feel confident enough to knit it, and now I have. They’re very very pretty.

2011: having been worn quite a bit these were getting very threadbare, and one had quite a large hole. I’ve now darned them though! Very pleased with the results of my first ever attempt at darning

March 10th 2013: more darning needed! Another hole which was trying to run (caught with a crochet hook before patching) and two thin patches. Not very neat darning this time, but hopefully they’re rescued for a bit longer.
