Notes

Saw Triskellian’s Bronty and decided I had to make a dinosaur of my own. A nice project for a lazy Sunday afternoon, though I doubt I’ll finish him today.

Sunday afternoon: 1/2 of head/body/tail
Sunday evening: rest of head/body/tail, 1 leg
Monday evening: 3 remaining legs
Tuesday evening: back wattles and tail spikes

Now just need stuffing to arrive and to assemble the pieces!

Thursday evening: stuff tail and body (learned mattress stitch, why did I not know how to do this before?)
Friday evening: stuff three legs.
Sunday afternoon: stuff remaining leg, attach legs, attach spines and tail spikes. Embroider face.

Note to self: embroidering the face would be easier if done at the right stage, rather than leaving it for later!

Overall the pattern was pretty easy to follow, and the finishing fiddly but not too much so. I may have another go with different yarn. It might be fun to do one in an aran weight and see how much bigger he’d be!
