This is a jumper for some friendly chap called Gerard. It is to replace a jumper he had knitted by his mother-in-law a long time ago, but it has recently been ruined by a rather larger coffee spill!

I’m amending the Hayfield pattern to match his original jumper. It’s a pretty straight forward alteration. This middle cable pattern is remaining the same, with all the cable twists and turns, but the side panels are being worked at purl 3, twist 2, purl 3, etc until it meets the middle panels.

It’s going well… keep checking back for the final thing.

Finsihed this yesterday… its what Sundays are made for!

I’m happy with the overall thing, although I think my raglan shaping could have been sewn together a bit better… I’ve always been better at knitting than sewing!
