This is the cowl to go with the mitts I completed (see other projects) and again it’s for the test knitting I’ve been doing for Hadley, from Hadley gets crafty - check out her blog

It has a really lovely pattern to it and works over a repeat of 10 rows. As I was knitting it I just kept thinking of seashells because of the pattern, but I think if it had been in a multi tonal brightly coloured wool I would have had rainbow images going through my head :)

The cowl has a length of 12 inches so it bunches up really nicely around the neck and I’m sooooo tempted to make another one for myself ready for next winter.
