this is a nother test knitting project I have on the go. So far I’ve completed the head, body, arms, face and scarf.
I’ve jsut recieved the rest of the pattern to finish the legs and ears ands then it’s all about sewing those limbs onto him.
At the minute he’s looking like a lost little snowman, but that’s mostly because he’s in need of his ear and legs. I’m happy with how he’s coming along. I had to redo the face because the first time I made a complete mess of it… sewing in a hurry is never a good idea, so I took a breather, had a cup fo tea and went back to do it again. Second time round, I’m much happier with it.
Also, I think his head looks a little out of proportion to his facial features, but this could be part of the missing-ears syndrome he’s got going on.
I’m going to be making these up tonight and attaching them asap so his head can be complete.

YAY HE IS FINALLY FINISHED! It took a lot longer than planned due to various factors in life, but I’m please to say that Leo Bear jr, is all complete and currently packed up and shipped off, hopefully boarding a plane to America as I write.
I’m happy with how he turned out, he looks like the original bear on the whole, just in a different colour, so that’ s a good result. I think that maybe his ears could do with being a little bigger, but that’s just me.
Yesterday when I was taking pictures of him I decided he should have a little journey around the museum where I work before sending him on his way, so enjoy the pictures of him in the History Gallery at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, in Coventry….
