my very favorite shawl. for so many reasons… for it’s simplicity and ease of wearing, it’s meditative to knit, no pattern looking or remembering required, once you read the pattern it’s simple to remember. and it would not be true if i didn’t say i’m thrilled beyond words that this one is named for me (and modeled by my daughter, gives me tears) it’s the highlight of my knitting life, so thank you so much dear carrie. i’m sure i’ll be making lots more of these. this shawl was donated as part of shawls for love hosted by ginny sheller.

the yarn was sent by a lovely company in sweden, Jarbo Garn, they were extraordinarily generous, sending many different types and colors and fibers. i really enjoyed using this 100% fine alpaka, it knit up beautifully. so soft and such pretty colors.
