Using up scraps to knit this hat. I wanted to mimic the basic look of a hat I made Nelle so she and her doll can have similar hats so improvised on this one.

1. Cast on 80 sts, join in round. 2.Work 7 rds k2, p2 rib.
2. Work 1 rd stst, increasing evenly by 10 sts.
3. Work snowflake chart.
4. Work 1 rd stst in mc, increasing 2 sts evenly to 92 sts.
5. Work 1 more rd stst and place markers every 23 sts.
6. Begin decreases, K21, k2tog, repeat to end of rd. Work decrease rd every 4th rd twice, then every 3d rd until 60 sts remain. Then do the decreases every other rd until 4 sts remain. Thread yarn through the 4 sts and weave in ends. 8. Add tassel.
