Elements Simply Silky yarn is a bit splitty & thinner than a standard DK. The pattern & yarn were chosen by my 5 year old granddaughter so am doing the 6-8 year size.

I’m not doing the lace pattern on the back as it doesn’t work well with this yarn {have frogged it twice!}.
