Another pair of self-stiping vanilla socks! This is yet another project for the Down Cellar Studio Pigskin Party KAL.

Knit most of the cuff while at a quiz night. Thank goodness I had this sock as the quiz was pretty boring seeing that hardly any of the questions were referring to anything past 1983. I was born in 1982 so it was a bit (read = very) frustrating… I probably would have flipped the table if not for this sock. :)

I started the heel flap last night using the Eye of Partridge pattern rather than my usual slipped stitch heel.

I turned the heel on my bus ride to work this morning and have picked up the stitches for the gusset so onto the foot of the first sock.
