An extremely straight-forward, enjoyable knit. Highly recommended!

This was my first time using German short rows
& I’m totally a convert now. Incredibly neat & tidy on both sides of my work.

Modification - I had lots of yarn, so I decided to make the body almost 4 inches longer. The colourwork section was perfect for stashbusting various bits & bobs of luxurious Spincycle leftovers.

Inadvertent Modification - I started on the cowl neck without really reading the pattern…and proceeded to knit in 1x1 rib instead of stockinette. It actually looks good, but wow that was a lot of ribbing!
