I decided on knitting the solid colour version as I had a sweater quantity of this insanely bright Aran weight yarn in deep stash.

I love how the speckled hand dyed yarn looks knit on the bias - very cool!

I am happy with the finished knit, although I had to block it very enthusiastically to meet the schematic measurements.

It was a fast & fun knit, and I would like to try stashbusting the striped version as well.
