The alpaca boucle yarn was perfect for a poodle, and incredibly soft, so worth it… but very hard to work with on such small needles. I had to re-do the head 3 times, because I couldn’t figure out which loop to PULT when I did the short rows. I finally gave up on that method and started over with wrap and turn… changing the pattern to knit only one after turning, instead of 2 tog. I hear that the publishers changed to that method in later book editions as well. I love how she turned out! So fancy and French!
