  • held yarn doubled
  • long tail CO 25 sts
  • skip row 1, begin with purl row
  • dec row changed to: k1, ssk, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
  • after 3 dec round (4 rows worked for each dec), dec every other row - omitted the (YO, k2tog) lace at top
  • 2nd to last row, changed to: k1, k3tog, k1
  • used 5.5mm hook to crochet the edging
  • 14 hdc down first edge, 13 hdc along bottom edge, 13 hdc, up final edge
  • did not break yarn at top of triangle, instead ch 65, turn sl 64 sts
  • when connecting the 2 triangles, did not work row 3, since yarn was held doubled
