I wanted to make a lighter weight version of this cowl so it could be worn in Phoenix where the winters are mild. See my bulky version with this same yarn held doubled here

mods:

• US 8 cable cast on 90 sts
• worked border 5 rounds instead of 3
• 2 pattern repeats
• no decs at the end, worked 4 rounds of the border
• was a bit tricky to get the bind off to look right, but ended up with a normal bind off in pattern with US 11
