Yarn is from deep deep in my stash. These are turning out to be some very scrappy looking socks, something you’ll knit out of whatever you find according to my spouse, like in a Mad Max world kind of scenario, hence the name.

Started with size M as per the instructions. I didn’t check the gauge. Knitted the cuff and 2” of leg and it was very loose, switched to size S.

S is a good fit for a man 9.5US man, a bit loose for 8US women size. Next time will probably go down a needle size when knitting for women.
