6/16: I finished the first (solid) section.
7/3: I finally finished the second section with the two colors. It looks great but kind of sucked when I realized the lace size had way more repeats than the fingering.
7/21: I picked this back up again and got to 2 rows/1 ridge shy of 6 repeats on the short row 3 color section.
7/22: Got through 1 ridge shy of 7 repeats.
7/23: Got through the first half/3 ridges of the 7th repeat.
7/25: Repeat 9 done!
7/26: Repeat 10 is finally done and so is the short row section. Now onto the border!
7/28: I knit the last 8 rows on the border tonight and started the bind off. Finally this dang thing will be off the needles soon!
7/29: Finished! Finally! It’s huge and I already love it. It definitely needs a good blocking but I’m really glad I finally have one of these as an FO. That being said, I never, ever want to knit one of these things again, especially in lace weight.
