Notes

Specs:

  • Crochet cast on
  • MC - harajuku, CC - genie
  • I did alternate my two skeins of Genie because one had more green and one had more orange and pink. It was a pain, but I made it work in the least obvious way.
  • 23 rounds of regular 2 color brioche in the middle
  • I did a regular bind off, but I used an H (5 mm) crochet hook. It’s perfect and doesn’t have those annoying little color blips that Jenny’s SSBO has. And it matches the cast on. :)

I picked this back up today after a break for smaller Ravellenics projects I knew I could get done. But man, I really love this thing.

I finished Chart B today so now I’m on the straight section of brioche.

I decided that 23 rounds of straight 2 color brioche was plenty and moved into something less mindless. I finished the first chart repeat and 1 of the 4 plain rounds in between. I’m hoping I can finish this tomorrow or at least get awfully close.

Finished! This think is crazy bright and amazing. It still needs a good soak to even things out, but otherwise I could definitely wear it now (if it still wasn’t sort of summer).
