The medallion was fun to knit, but unfortunately the surround took longer and wasn’t as interesting. I like the finished project. The yarn was really easy to work with, especially with the wrapped cable stitch.
I learned how to do cables without a cable needle, which made the wrapped cable stitch much simpler.
