Had estimated 15-17 panels total for a larger shawl, but stopped at 12…final panel makes it 13 total.

It’s so lovely. The blue photographs differently in different light.

Completed 8 panels with first skein of yarn so started taking (unblocked) measurements here:

At 8 panels weighs 63g, 35” wingspan.

At 9 panels weighs 76g, 39” wingspan. (+13g)

At 10 panels weighs 92g, 43” wingspan. (+16g)

At 11 panels weighs 109g, 46” wingspan. (+17g)

At 12 panels weighs 127g, 50” wingspan. (+18g)

Went ahead with final panel here. Washed and blocked. Lightly blocked just laid flat to dry on a towel, no pins. Final wingspan measures 59”.
